Personal information
VocabLens does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address or contact details directly through its core features.
Camera and images
Text recognition uses Apple Vision on your device. Images are not stored or uploaded unless explicitly required by a feature you choose.
Text and external services
Scanned or entered text may be used to extract vocabulary, generate cards or translate. Limited text content and selected language pairs may be sent to translation providers such as Google Translate or MyMemory, language services such as Datamuse, and Supabase for optional shared decks.
Storage and tracking
Vocabulary and learning data remain on your device unless you choose a cloud feature. The app does not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs or track users across apps and websites.
Accuracy and security
Automated translations or suggestions may be incorrect. Reasonable protection measures cannot guarantee absolute security for internet transmissions or storage.
Children and changes
VocabLens does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Changes to this policy will be published here.
This website
This static site has no advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or contact forms. GitHub Pages may process IP addresses and technical request information to provide and secure hosting. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details.
Contact and your choices
Voluntary support emails are processed to answer your request; app records are not attached automatically. You can email requests to access, correct or delete personal information in support messages. Messages are kept as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable obligations.
