PayGuard is a local-first app for tracking subscriptions, purchases, warranties, return deadlines, and related reminders.
PayGuard is designed to keep your information on your device whenever possible. At this time, PayGuard does not require account creation or sign-in to use the app.
Depending on how you use PayGuard, you may choose to store the following information inside the app on your device:
Your information is used only to provide app functionality, such as:
PayGuard may analyze screenshots, receipts, scans, and PDFs on your device to help prefill records. This processing is intended to happen on-device.
If you enable notifications, PayGuard stores reminder-related information locally on your device so it can notify you about renewals, return windows, and warranty deadlines.
PayGuard does not sell your personal data.
PayGuard does not share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
If this changes in a future release, this policy will be updated before that change takes effect.
Your records and attachments are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share them yourself.
You can delete individual records inside the app.
You can also use the “Delete all local data” option in the app settings to remove locally stored subscriptions, purchases, household members, and pending reminders from your device.
PayGuard is not directed to children under 13.
